Cutting Board and Charcuterie Board Care Instructions
Cleaning:
- Hand wash after each use with light soap and luke warm (not hot) water.
 - To deep clean, disinfect, or remove odors there are a couple of chemical free options:
 - Sprinkle the board with course salt, slice a lemon in half and rub with the inner fleshy part of the lemon, let sit for a couple of minutes and then rinse.
 - Spray or rub the board with white vinegar, let sit for a couple of minutes and then rinse.
 - Towel dry to remove droplets and stand on end allow air drying for both sides.

Conditioning:
- Condition your board with cutting board oil (and wax if available) regularly. On a clean, dry board apply oil and let soak in for ~15-30 minutes, and then wipe down. Apply and then buff off cutting board wax for extra waterproofing if desired.
 - Condition your board when it starts to look dry or dull or once a month, which ever happens first. Your board will need more oil early in its life.
 - If your board has a significant amount of knife marks, knicks, or is looking “fuzzy” you can give it a quick sand with high grit sand paper (220-320 grit) before conditioning. (“Fuzzies” are just swollen wood fibers from washing)

Do’s:
- Clean and condition often.
 - Store your board so airflow can hit both sides.
 - Use them! We know they look awesome but they are also functional!

Dont’s:
- Do not put in the dishwasher!
 - Do not soak or let stand in water!
 - Do not use super hot water to wash!
